Q: How quickly can you respond?
A: Usually the next day, although sometimes same day visit is also possible, if there is an appliance repair engineer near and at a convenient time for you.
Q: Do you do visits in the evenings and on weekends?
A: Yes, we do. Visiting times are 9am—7pm, Monday –Friday, 10am – 4pm on Saturdays.
Q: Is my appliance going to be fixed on the day of the visit?
A: We aim to provide ONE-STOP repair service. Our team carries spare parts for the most common faults and makes of appliances. However, sometimes the fault is more specific and requires spare parts which need to be ordered. In this case it would take a few days for the repair to be completed and you will be advised on the cost and time beforehand.
Q: What happens if you cannot fix my appliance? Do I incur any charges?
A: Most appliances are fixable. It depends on whether it is cost effective to repair the appliance, or it is better to buy a new one. You will be advised on this by the visiting engineer. If you decide not to proceed with the repair, then you will only have to pay the diagnostic charge.
On rare occasions, when the appliance is working fine when the engineer arrives, or you have realised it is not faulty, but just has not been plugged in properly, and you cancel less than 2 hrs before the visit, a cancellation fee of £20 is applicable.
Q: Is your work guaranteed and for how long?
A: All repairs we carry out are guaranteed for 6 months for parts and labour. This guarantee does not apply in cases of faults, caused by foreign objects in the appliance, for example bra wire; blockages, broken doors, door handles and hinges, glasses or dials. Attempts to fix the appliance by someone else than engineer employed by Wefix UK will void your guarantee. The guarantee is not applicable, if a different and not connected to the originally repaired fault develops.
Q: Do you charge a call-out fee?
A: No, we do not charge a call-out fee. We charge a diagnostic fee once the fault has been diagnosed.
Q: Do I get a discount, if I have more than one appliance?
A: Yes, you do get a £10 discount for second appliance, if both appliances are repairable and the repair is completed for both.
Q: Do you repair all makes?
A: We repair most European makes of domestic washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, washer-dryers, electric cookers and ovens. We do not undertake repairs on American makes or makes, for which spare parts are not available in the UK.
Q: Are you a member of any Trade Organisation?
A: We are not a member of a Trade Association, but we have undergone vigorous screening process to be endorsed by WHICH? Trusted Traders and our feedback history is available publicly on their website.
Q; Are your engineers covered by Public Liability Insurance?
A: Yes, the work carried out by our team is covered by Public Liability Insurance.
