Terms and Conditions

SERVICES

Wefix UK undertakes repairs only on the following domestic appliances:
¨ Washing machines
¨ Washer dryers
¨ Tumble dryers (vented and condensers)
¨ Dishwashers
¨ Electric cookers, hobs and ovens.

Because of the nature of the repairs, engineers often need to move the appliance to gain access to faulty parts. We advise our customers that light damage to carpet or other flooring is possible during this process. If the customer refuses to take responsibility for such damage that may occur, Wefix UK may not undertake the repair, unless the customer removes/relocates the appliance themselves. Wefix UK will not take responsibility for and no claims can be made against the company with regards to such damage, once the customer has agreed on the above.

Please rest assured that our engineer will do his best to prevent any damage to your property. We take the matter of protecting our customer’s property very seriously and for further peace of mind we have taken out Public Liability Cover of £2,000,000 with MORE THAN Business.

Any damages which may occur during the repair process must be reported as soon as reasonably possible. Please ensure you inspect the appliance and the site of repair and address any concerns with your visiting engineer before signing the invoice he will issue.

If any damages become apparent at a later date and are direct result of our work, please contact us immediatelly or as soon as reasonably posiible to allow us to limit the damage.
Claims for damages would not be considered in cases in which our engineer or representative have not been allowed on the property to remedy or assess the damages.

GUARANTEE

WefixUK Ltd guarantees the work its engineer does for 6 months for parts and labour unless otherwise specified.
The guarantee is valid only for those parts, which have been replaced or repaired.

WefixUK Ltd cannot be held responsible for any misuse or accidental damage, which may be caused by the customer.
This guarantee does not cover broken doors, door hinges and door handles, glasses and dials, blockages and foreign objects in the appliance.
Please contact us as soon as possible after you have established a problem with your recently repaired appliance. We will send an engineer to inspect and address the issue.

COMPLAINTS

We do our best to keep our customers happy, but if you are in any way dissatisfied with our service, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0203 5444 302 or wefixuk@yahoo.co.uk. We aim to address complaints within 48 hours.

PAYMENT

We accept payments by cash or cheque or online transfer. Payment for the repair carried out is due immediately on completion of the work. An invoice is issued for every repair either by the visiting engineer, or in cases of Landlords and Property Management agents when the person responsible for the bill is not present, the invoice is issued by our office.

Regular customers like Property Management Agents can open an account with us and benefit from a discount and 2 week payment period.
New customers from this category are required to transfer a deposit equal to our diagnostic fee for the appliance to be repaired prior to their first job order. This deposit is redeemable against their final bill or fully refundable on the rare occasion when we are unable to diagnose the fault with their appliance.

BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION FEES

Please note that internet bookings are always confirmed by phone or email. Otherwise the booking has not gone through and you should not expect a visit.

Any failure by the customer to attend an appointment without prior cancellation (more than 2 hours in advance) or rearrangement of the visit will result in a cancellation fee of £20.
In the case of the reported appliance working at the time of the visit and the engineer not identifying a fault, a cancellation fee of £20 is payable to cover the engineer’s time and travel.
